The Washington Terrace City Council voted unanimously on June 3 to approve Resolution 25-09, renewing an interlocal agreement that supplies forensic technical and CSI services to the city through Weber County.
Tom, a city staff member presenting the item, said the agreement continues the city's historical participation in the countywide CSI contract and tightens language; the renewal term is five years. "They'll be renewing that for an additional 5 years," Tom said. He added the cities will be charged according to actual use and that the city anticipates the cost to remain within the current contract amount it pays to the sheriff's office for higher-level services.
A motion to approve Resolution 25-09 was moved and seconded; the roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous. Amy called the roll; the transcript records affirmative votes from 'Councilman Thomas,' 'Councilman Christian,' 'Councilman Mishtan,' 'Councilman Parkinson' and 'Councilman West' and notes the vote was unanimous.
The resolution authorizes continued participation in the countywide forensic services arrangement; the council provided no additional direction and no amendments were made during the meeting.
