Planning Commission approves lot split for Harris Farm subdivision

Grove City Planning Commission on an approximately 3–0 vote recommended approval of a lot split that would create a 15.3-acre parcel from a 99.47-acre tract within the Harris Farm development along London Groveport Road.
The development department told commissioners the proposed split contains Subarea D of the Harris Farm final development plan that was approved in 2024 and recommended the commission approve the lot split as submitted. Matt Ackroyd, the surveyor for the applicant, appeared and said he had no additional comments.
Hearing no public comment, a commissioner moved to approve the application and the commission took a roll-call vote. Chair Oster, Mr. Titus and Mr. Roach all voted yes to recommend approval to city council.
The recommendation will be forwarded to Grove City Council for final action. No amendments were requested at the Planning Commission meeting and staff did not indicate any additional conditions beyond conformity with the approved development plan.
