Commissioner Bollock expressed caution about market conditions, saying the county could face an unfavorable market when units are completed: "we could end up owning all of them or some of them," Bollock said, noting concerns about interest rates and homebuyer demand in roughly 14 months.
The motion to approve the construction agreement with Clayton Properties Group Incorporated, with construction performed by Solution Builders/Oakwood Homes, was moved and seconded and then approved by voice vote; the board recorded the approval as "pending legal review."
