The Gaston County Board of Commissioners on May 27 confirmed multiple appointments and reappointments to county advisory boards and committees.
Commissioners moved and seconded reappointments and new appointments across several boards including the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Workforce Development Board, Library Board of Trustees, Gaston Community Action Board of Trustees, and juvenile-related councils. Motions were made by multiple commissioners and recorded as approved unanimously.
A selection of actions recorded in the meeting packet and transcript includes reappointments of Sheree Feimster and Kathy Hart to the Gaston Community Action Board of Trustees; reappointments and new appointments to Parks and Recreation (including Eddie Ivester and Alex Ormaza); reappointments to the Workforce Development Board (including Greg Smith and Nina Williams) and other board confirmations.
