Delaware City recreation staff provided an update to the city’s Parks and Recreation Board on facility maintenance, summer programming and park planning and said the board approved meeting minutes and adjourned.
The update, delivered by Amy Mosser, associate executive for Delaware City recreation operations, covered near-term maintenance and capital items and attendance trends for summer programming. Mosser said the facility recently installed a new concrete pad outside a large refuse container and plans a sauna rebuild in June. She said the facility’s biannual pool shutdown is scheduled for Aug. 16–30 and that the city will be draining the pool for that work.
