The board also adopted two proclamations — designating the week as National Safe Boating Week and May 31 as Foster Parent Appreciation Day — added a special meeting to the calendar for July 29, 2025, approved a consent agenda and voted to add a last-minute closed-session item to evaluate the animal care and control director. All recorded votes for these items were 5–0.
