Commissioner Newton moved to approve the award of the lease on certain portions of ground at the Morgan County Fairgrounds to Adam Toon, with a lease agreement to follow. A second was recorded and the motion passed on a voice vote.
Staff said the formal lease will set defined dates, cancellation rights for county events such as the July 4 activities, and responsibilities for maintenance and fencing. County staff indicated the lease will include language addressing event access and potential future trail development.
