The following motions and recorded approvals were taken during the meeting of the City Council, the Alva Utility Authority and the Economic Development Authority. - Economic Development Authority (EDA) consent agenda: EDA approved its consent agenda including minutes (04/21/2025), claims of $491,229.33 and payroll expenses of $19,722.28. Motion carried.
- NWSU Foundation scholarship payment (EDA): EDA approved payment of $279,082.75 for spring 2025 scholarships for 290 students on the Alva campus; motion made by Mr. Adair, second by Mr. Hoffman; outcome approved.
