Planning commission reviews upcoming plats and notes several commissioner terms expiring

Staff also noted a final application for Banbury Townhomes and Sadies Glen PRD Phase 5A that may not make the June 3 agenda.
“Noah Steele” (planning staff) summarized the list as part of the work session, and commissioners made no final decisions during the discussion. Commissioners noted that zoning approvals do not expire, but preliminary plat approvals may require updates when plans are not acted on for an extended period.
Commissioners were also reminded that several planning commissionersterms expire in June and that the mayor is accepting volunteer applications on the city website. Staff said the mayor is expected to consider new or renewed appointments at an upcoming council meeting on June 10; individual appointment outcomes were not decided by the planning commission.
The work session was informational; no formal votes were taken on the pipeline items or appointments during the meeting.
The commission adjourned and will reconvene for its next scheduled meeting on June 3 (as noted during the session).
