Weber County planning commission recommends rezoning for Longhorn Estates, excludes Marriott parcel

The Weber County Planning Commission voted to forward a positive recommendation to the County Commission to rezone parts of the Longhorn Estates proposal (file ZMA2023-04) — a developer-initiated request to rezone roughly 55 acres — after staff said one adjacent parcel owned by Western Basin Land and Livestock (the Marriott property) would be excluded because that owner declined to enter the same development agreement.
