The Western Weber Planning Commission unanimously voted Jan. 9 to forward a positive recommendation to the county commission for final approval of the Single Tree Acres subdivision, a proposed 25-lot residential development at 2200 South 4520 West.
Staff Planner Felix told commissioners the subdivision was previously rezoned to the R-115 zone and that civil plans are on a second round of county engineering review. Charlie, the acting director, and staff recommended final approval subject to a development agreement and four conditions in the staff report.
The staff recommendation requires that the subdivision conform to the development agreement, that funds to cover the cost of all remaining subdivision improvements be held in escrow with the county engineering department at the time of recording, that annexation into the Central Weber Sewer Improvement District be completed before the subdivision plan is recorded, and that civil plans and the subdivision plan receive final approval before the county commission hearing.
Commissioners asked no substantive policy questions during the presentation. After a motion to forward staff recommendations, Commissioners Collins, Neville, Whitaker, Feveiro, Andriati, McCormack and the chair voted "aye," and the motion passed unanimously.
The planning commission’s recommendation will now go to the Weber County Commission, which has final authority on final subdivision approval and the development agreement.
