Clermont County commissioners approve $4.5 million in payments and a slate of contracts and grants; executive session held

BATAVIA, Ohio — The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on June 11 approved payment of $4,516,600.60 to vendors, a set of professional contracts, state grant agreements and other administrative items, and later met in executive session and reported no actions taken.

The board unanimously adopted Resolution No. 063-25 authorizing payment to vendors totaling $4,516,600.60 and directing the county auditor to issue warrants in compliance with Section 319.16 of the Ohio Revised Code. Commissioners David L. Painter (board president), Bonnie Bachelor (vice president) and Claire Corcoran voted yes on the roll call.

Also approved were: a professional services contract for case-management project management for the county courts and clerks with David J. Wuderman not to exceed $80,000 (contingent on a purchase order); Ohio Department of Youth Services grant agreements for Reclaim Ohio and youth services (combined amounts cited in the meeting as $886,374.79 and $283,623); and an amendment resolving to purchase or lease motor vehicles for county use at a revised estimated price…
