Council approves final plat to correct lot lines for seven Highland Bridal row homes

The St. Paul City Council on a unanimous vote approved the final combined plat for the Highland Bridal Row Home Sixth Edition at 905 Woodlawn Avenue to correct lot lines after a construction error.
Spencer Miller Johnson of the Planning and Economic Development Department told the council Pulte had built seven row homes at a slight angle, which left three units with 1–2 foot encroachments into the front setback. The developer applied for the plat to adjust lot lines to match the as-built conditions. Miller Johnson said the project met the required findings in city code and that the Board of Zoning Appeals granted the required variances in February.
No members of the public spoke at the public hearing. Council members thanked staff for an in-person presentation and noted the plat was essentially a technical correction of the recorded lots to match the built condition.
The council closed the public hearing and adopted the plat 7–0.
