Executive Officer Jennifer Stevenson presented the proposed FY25–26 budget and said the total proposed budget would decrease 2.2% from the previous fiscal year after three adjustments: a reduction in the line item for legal counsel to $18,000, removal of a county cost-allocation credit (reduced to zero for the current year), and no change to the medical insurance line pending further information. “So in total, the budget for 2526 is proposed to decrease by 2.2% from the previous fiscal year,” Stevenson said.
