Ordinance 2025‑007 (adoption of FY 2025–2026 administrative code): The court read and adopted Ordinance 2025‑007, which establishes the county's personnel policies and procedures for FY 2025–2026 and repeals Ordinance 2024‑04. The ordinance text states the policies may be waived, altered or suspended only by amendment of the ordinance; the ordinance becomes effective on the date of the second reading and adoption. The court approved the ordinance by motion and roll call.
Resolution 2025‑048 (Madison County Road Department annual bid awards): Approved. See separate article for details; awarded vendors include The Allen Company Inc., Apollo Oil, Concrete Materials Company LLC, Interstate Construction Products, Inc., Morton Salt, Inc., Kentucky Fuel Supply, LLC.
Resolution 2025‑049 (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act interlocal agreement): Approved. The court authorized Madison County to enter an interlocal cooperative agreement with multiple Kentucky counties under the Kentucky Interlocal Cooperation Act (KRS 65.210–65.300) to participate in workforce development activities funded under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
Resolution 2025‑050 (annual standing order to preapprove recurring expenses for FY 2026): Approved. The resolution, citing KRS 68.2753 and KRS 68.02, authorizes the county to preapprove recurring monthly payroll, utilities and listed vendor payments; the standing order expires after July 1 of each fiscal year unless a new order is adopted.
Resolution 2025‑051 (professional services — MWM Consulting LLC): Approved. The court authorized a professional services agreement with MWM Consulting LLC for economic development and related services.
Resolution 2025‑052 (Madison County EMS board appointment): Approved. The court appointed Ronald Jackson to fill a vacancy on the Madison County EMS board; the appointment fills the seat vacated by Rob Brock.
Resolution 2025‑053 (Madison County Information Technology managed services agreement for FY 2026): Approved. The court authorized signature of managed‑services agreements with multiple county offices and local districts, effective 07/01/2025 through 06/30/2026, including Madison County Emergency Communications Center, Clerk's Office, Detention Center, Sheriff's Office, Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, and local water and utility districts.
Other routine business: The court approved prior meeting minutes, hiring recommendations in the court packet, payment of claims and transfers, and adjourned. Several items (minutes, personnel hires, claims) were approved by motion and roll call with no additional discussion recorded.
