Board adopts FY2026 fee schedules for county and service districts

Management analyst Laura Skundrick presented the FY2026 fee schedule and noted a minor correction not included in the initial packet: language added to the assessor fee entry to clarify the unit as “per account.” She also summarized changes adopted since an earlier May 7 presentation: revised Bend Parks & Recreation SDC fees, Building Codes Division audit edits to building and electrical fees, updated lodging tax nomenclature (transient lodging tax), and newly added certificate‑of‑authority fees (TLT 6 and 7) effective Sept. 1, 2025.
The board adopted the county fee schedule by resolution (2025‑014) and adopted the 9‑1‑1 service district (2025‑015), OSU Extension/4‑H service district (2025‑016), Sunriver service district (2025‑017), and Black Butte Ranch (2025‑018) fee schedules in separate resolutions after public hearings. Meeting minutes record motions and seconds and affirmative votes for each resolution.
Why it matters: Annual fee schedules set charges for permitting, services and special districts and feed into the county’s FY2026 budget. The updates reflect adjustments from city partners, the state building codes audit, and small corrections requested by the assessor’s office.
What’s next: Resolutions will be published and the new fees will take effect according to the resolution text (some fees noted to be effective Sept. 1, 2025).
