Hoover City Schools board reviews code-of-conduct updates, leaves draft for 30‑day public review

Hoover City Schools officials presented a revised student code of conduct and related policy changes at a board meeting; the board agreed to let the draft sit for 30 days and to return in July to consider final approval.

Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Tim Lowry told the board the revisions are intended mostly for "consistency and simplicity" but include several larger changes that staff said require attention now.
