Items approved on the consent agenda included: an accounts-payable batch dated June 10, 2025, totaling $847,042.75; a memorandum of agreement between the City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department, the Missoula Downtown Foundation and the Missoula Downtown Association for replacement of the Karrie Park Pavilion canopy (funding and project management); and two construction contracts: a professional design contract with WGM Group Inc. in the amount of $91,560 for the Fort Missoula Ponds/Bitterroot Riverbank Restoration Project and a construction contract with JAG Con Contracting LLC in the amount of $676,892 for Clark Fork River access and restoration projects.
The council also awarded the Phillips Street water main replacement project to Williams Veil Construction at a cost not to exceed $227,459; authorized return of bid bonds; set public hearings for June 23, 2025, to consider vacating portions of Roundup Drive right-of-way and a 20-foot alley in the Knowles Addition No. 2 (subject to conditions of approval); approved a resolution establishing compliance with reimbursement bond regulations under the Internal Revenue Code to finance parks and recreation improvements (referencing a $2,100,000 Northside pedestrian bridge and other projects); and set a June 23 public hearing to consider second-quarter fiscal year 2025 amendments to the annual appropriations.
Clerks’ note and correction
Council staff noted a correction to the consent agenda: item 8.7’s motion incorrectly listed a hearing date; the public hearing will take place on June 23, 2025, and the resolution and notices already reflect the correct date.
Vote and procedure
The consent agenda was approved by voice vote with no council members requesting separation of items for individual consideration and no public comment. The motion passed unanimously.
