Perryton ISD trustees approve routine personnel, technology and property actions

The Perryton ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a package of routine operational items at its regular meeting, including student transfer applications, an attendance-waiver request, a technology purchase for the 2025–26 school year and authorization for the superintendent to negotiate an agricultural lease.

Board members voted 7-0 on each item during the meeting, approving hires and contract renewals, delegating limited hiring authority to the superintendent over the summer and endorsing a candidate for the TASB board of directors.

The attendance-waiver request was presented as a routine, administrative step.
