Chairperson Pamela Albert told the Auburn School Committee on June 4 the committee will follow its adopted procedures to complete the annual superintendent evaluation. Albert cited district policies AUB CBI e 3 (evaluation timeline) and AUB CBI r 1 (procedure), and said committee members will receive a link to form AUB CBI e 1 after the evening's executive session. Committee members must complete the form by Friday, June 13; Albert said she will compile the results and bring a summary for review in executive session at the June 18 meeting.
Albert also reminded the public that the school budget validation referendum is imminent. Voters can absentee vote at City Hall during business hours through the day after the meeting; in-person voting will take place on election day, Tuesday, in the City Hall Community Room, second floor, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Albert invited committee members to contact her with questions about the timeline. The committee then entered executive session under 1 M.R.S.A. §405(6)(A) to consider the superintendent's self-evaluation.
