Council appoints members to deferred compensation board; panel to meet after years of inactivity

The council appointed the city attorney, the human resources director, the finance director and Rebecca Patterson as members, and noted that council member Dean Lemke already served as the council’s representative on the board. A motion to approve the appointments passed unanimously.
Councilors said the board is being reinstated to address a small number of outstanding items and to ensure proper oversight of deferred-compensation matters.
