Hunter said the project ultimately involved three partners, and that each partner’s share looked to be about $10,000, keeping each partner under the $10,000 threshold that would require formal quotes.
Hunter and other staff confirmed the three partners are the county, Sky Lakes (listed in the record as "Sky Lakes") and the Trust for Public Lands. The board moved to pay up to $10,000 from the tourism fund and to accept invoices from the Trust for Public Lands; the motion passed by voice vote.
The board discussed whether the county should place its logo on a related state economic development-district budget letter; commissioners asked staff to check for an updated request before deciding whether to include the county logo. The logo question was handled by consensus and staff follow-up.
The action recorded: the county will accept an invoice from the Trust for Public Lands and will pay up to $10,000 from the tourism fund for the county’s share of the polling project.
