Crossman handled engineering, staff said.
Town Manager Brian (last name not specified) said DOT provided an estimate and approved a maximum reimbursement of $136,500. “So again, DOT is gonna reimburse us. That’s what this agreement says,” he told the council. He said the town has an on-site contractor already under contract and that approving the subrecipient agreement streamlines the repair and reimbursement process.
Councilors asked about timing; staff said they had a site visit scheduled and expected a start date to be set after that inspection. The council voted to authorize the town manager to sign the subrecipient agreement; the motion passed by voice vote with the councilors recorded as voting in favor.
