Police building doors fixed; commission backs state bills to improve trail access for people with disabilities

Chair Lynn Horan said Holyoke updated a previously agreed letter and that Representative Pat Duffy agreed to cosponsor the measure; Meg Bandera, who runs an all-trails organization, had asked commissions around the state to submit support letters.
Commissioners encouraged residents to take advantage of local accessible trails and to participate in roll trips to view accessibility features in practice. The commission did not take further formal action on the bills at this meeting beyond submitting the support letter.
