Commission staff told the commission they would standardize the promotion wording for manager of refuse collection, manager of sewers and manager of streets so the promotion qualifications read the same for all three positions: one year of permanent status as an employee in the Department of Public Works or Parks and Recreation and a supervisory or engineering title in the civil service classification at grade 11 or higher. Commissioners approved the change without recorded roll-call votes.
