Richmond Community Schools to keep current facility-use process, schedule deeper review after disputes over classification and fees

Richmond Community Schools trustees spent the bulk of a policy-review meeting discussing how the district classifies and charges outside groups for use of school facilities and whether to alter the fee structure amid complaints from community organizations.

Board members and staff focused on how the district’s facility-use form and administrative guideline distinguish between commercial users and nonprofit or school-related groups.
