City clerk Miss Hilbert administered the oath to Mark Lofgren, sworn in as councilman for District 6; Andrew Young, sworn in as councilman for District 5; and Duane Crocker, sworn in as mayor. After the oaths, Council opened nominations for mayor pro tem; Councilman Young was nominated, the nomination received two seconds and the council approved the election by voice vote.
