Staff said the project total is “just under $2.6 million” in combined federal and state funds sourced from a Carbon Reduction Program for small urban and rural areas. Councilor Mike Riley moved approval of the MTIP amendment; Commissioner Bill Chang seconded. The motion passed with Omar Ahmed recorded as abstaining.
Bylaws approval (referenced here but covered in full in a separate article): The board also approved amended bylaws and directed staff to initiate the member review process; that motion was moved by Councilor Mike Riley, seconded by Omar Ahmed and passed unanimously.
