UBTech pitches Custom Fit training and 40% reimbursement to Daggett County businesses

She also said UBTech staff have coordinated with county staff (referenced in the meeting as Peggy and Carrie) on outreach and scheduling.
Whiting identified specific course offerings and local training plans: UBTech currently lists Excel and AI-in-the-workplace classes and is arranging to offer QuickBooks instruction after locating a qualified instructor. She suggested Red Canyon and Resort and other seasonal employers as potential partners for on-site or evening classes and said she is working with local high-school staff to provide training opportunities for juniors and seniors to support seasonal workforce needs.
The presentation was delivered during the meeting's citizen-comment/presentation period; commissioners and county staff responded with brief thanks and invited UBTech to provide flyers and materials for local distribution. No formal action or funding request related to the Custom Fit program was presented or voted on during the meeting.
