Key items recorded in the minutes:
- Approval of the special and regular meeting minutes of May 27, approved without objection.
- Treasurer's report: the court recorded a balance of $15,608,326.28 and a refund from the PVA's office (John Paul Coyle) of $43,020.70. The court approved an exchange-of-information agreement between the fiscal court, the county tax administrator, and the Kentucky Department of Revenue; the motion was moved by Squire Carl and seconded by Squire Brown and carried unanimously.
- Procurement and maintenance: the court authorized the maintenance supervisor to seek contractor quotes for rebuilding the stage at the Woodford Theater after no bids were received; the motion was moved by Squire Downey and seconded by Squire Brown and carried.
- Claims and asset forfeiture: the court approved two claims to be paid from sheriff's office asset forfeiture funds — Southern Communications for $972.74 and Bachman Auto Group for $57,706. The motion to approve the claims was moved by Squire Gentry and seconded by Squire Taylor and carried.
- Ratifications: the court ratified a previously approved EMS equipment purchase (bid to Stryker, $40,000) and approval letters from the Administrative Office of the Courts for nonrecurring roof repairs; these were ratified by motion and recorded as carried.
- Personnel and transfers: the court approved transfers and a personnel order as presented.
- Renewals and leases: the court approved a renewal (listed as Keiko All Alliance Fund option 2) in the amount of $365,539 for fiscal year 2025-26 and a workers' compensation renewal option 2 in the amount of $382,500 for fiscal year 2025-26. The court approved a 1-year tenant lease renewal with Andrew Marsh upon review and approval by the county attorney and the judge executive.
- Audit: the court approved the 2023 tax audit for the sheriff's office as presented.
- Executive session: the court voted to go into closed session pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(b) to discuss potential property acquisition; the motion was moved by Squire Gentry and seconded by Squire Brown and carried.
Most motions were recorded as approved by voice vote and described in the minutes as carrying without objection; the court did not record roll-call tallies in the transcript for individual votes.
The court indicated that ratified email approvals would be reflected as individual motions in the official minutes and that staff will circulate the list of email approvals for record-keeping.
