The town manager reported that construction has started on the White Oak Roundabout, a major bond project, and that the work will require temporary closure of the east end of Ackerman Road and the north end of Hebron Church Road beginning on June 16.
Town Manager Jody Miller said closures will last about three to four months, weather permitting, and that White Oak Grove will remain open during construction. Miller directed residents to the town’s project web page for detours and updates and said staff will work to notify affected residents and drivers.
The town manager’s update was informational; no council vote was required. Miller said staff will provide ongoing project updates on the town website and via the town’s communications channels.
