During its June 6 session the Board approved numerous requests from property owners and agents to provide sworn testimony by telephone or to submit sworn written statements. Requesters cited travel burden, health concerns, or out‑of‑state locations.
Approved requests included remote appearances or sworn statements for businesses and property owners including Burger King (ID 2051155), Lithia Motors (PC20569), LRG LLC, Realty Income, Wyld Family Limited Partnership (two filings), MKJEB LLC and others listed in the clerk packet. Motion votes were handled by roll call for each request and were routinely approved on a finding that travel presented a significant burden or health risk.
Board members said the remote testimony procedure had been adopted earlier in the meeting and that approvals will be scheduled consistent with the Board’s remote‑testimony policy. Approved remote witnesses will receive scheduling information or instructions for submitting sworn written testimony through the clerk’s office.
