The Waukesha Board of Review certified receipt of the 2025 assessment roll June 6 and approved the roll after the assessor reported corrections and omissions discovered during open-book review.
Clerk's staff confirmed the assessment roll and supporting affidavits were received electronically and made available in a shared folder. The assessor told the Board that the Department of Revenue no longer requires an annual assessment report and that the city had not compiled one for that reason. Board members examined the roll, confirmed three corrections and one omission had been finalized, and discussed that open-book changes would be reflected in the roll.
During discussion the assessor noted there were 62 properties with pending corrections not yet reflected on the published roll. The Board approved a motion accepting the assessment roll “subject to the 62 corrections” recommended by the assessor’s office. The motion was seconded and passed by roll-call.
Following that vote, the Board opened its docket to petitions and numerous waiver and scheduling requests for hearings under the adopted policies.
