The New York City Council Land Use subcommittee opened a public hearing on LU-296, the zoning special permit that is part of the land-use package for the development known as 145 For Harlem in Council Member Salam’s district. Chair Riley said the special permit is being reviewed concurrently with companion zoning map and text amendment applications and reminded the public that a comprehensive hearing on the related applications was held on May 20.
The hearing drew no members of the public either in person or remotely. Chair Riley said, “There'd be no members of the public who wish to testify on LU number 296 relating to the 145 zoning special permit application. The public hearing is now closed, and the item is laid over.”
The subcommittee record shows the hearing was opened to accept remote and written testimony; written testimony may be emailed to landusetestimony@council.nyc.gov up to three days after the hearing closes. No applicants presented new material at this session. The chair noted the item will be considered later in the committee process.
