Police staff said the existing contract covers roughly 45,000 minutes; combined use between 911 and police runs about 10,000 minutes per month, with police using about 3,000 minutes and 911 about 7,500 minutes in sample months. Staff said the increase was needed because the county is serving more residents whose primary language is not English.
Commissioner Patrick moved approval of item 2025‑0608; the motion carried by voice vote.
