Program Coordinator Jimmy Wong told the Baldwin Park City Commission that the city will run its rebranded Street Market in the Park from June 12 through Aug. 21 and that more than 90 vendor spaces have already been purchased.
Wong listed the 2025 concert lineup scheduled at Morgan Park as follows: June 12 — DJ Angie Vee and the Eighties Retro; June 19 — Banda La Fantastica; June 26 — Cadetes de Linares de Amel Cavada; July 3 — no market concert (Independence Day celebration at Sierra Vista High School); July 10 — Vilma Diaz La Sonora; July 17 — Sweet and Tender Hooligans; July 24 — Bridal Machos; July 30 (listed as "July 30 first") — Ray Carreon and the Latin All Stars; Aug. 7 — Pancho Sanchez; Aug. 14 — Los Aquino; and Aug. 21 — Sonora Santanera La Nueva Sangre.
Wong said the July 3 Independence Day program will be at Sierra Vista High School from about 5:30 to 10 p.m. Program Supervisor April Rojo said the event brand was combined this year into a single offering called "Street Market in the Park," with a new logo as part of the rebranding campaign.
Rojo also described a new downloadable, mobile-friendly recreation guide covering June through November. The guide is available via a QR code distributed on flyers, social media and staff keychains; Rojo said the guide is a flip-book format that allows keyword searching for classes and events.
City staff said they will continue to confirm vendor applications and finalize placements; the presentation did not specify total expected attendance or ticketing details for individual concerts.
