Representatives from Grama Family Services — Veronica Goe (executive director), Angelica Ramos Allen (policy and communications) and Liliana Amaro (operations and HR) — accepted the proclamation and described Grama’s First 5 Family Resource Center in East San Jose and its multi-decade work supporting families facing economic and housing insecurity.
Speakers framed the proclamation as a call to strengthen community partnerships that support family wellbeing and to treat families as partners rather than problems.
