He said the port expects to acquire the property by June and complete tenant-improvement work in September or October, creating immediate warehousing, distribution and limited cooler capacity (about 2,500 square feet).
The port and Gibbs said the expansion is expected to create 16 full-time jobs and approximately 30 seasonal positions over the next five years and will move the property into public ownership and active use at Bayview Business Park.
