Keizer staff pushes HRIS launch to Jan. 1, 2025; committee told personnel manual updates are pending

Keizer city staff told the Personnel Policy Committee on Oct. 28 that the city pushed the formal launch of its new human resources information system (HRIS) to Jan. 1, 2025, to allow additional configuration and employee training.
HR Director Cleaver told the committee that the later date gives staff time to fine-tune payroll configuration and training so employees are paid correctly on the first paycheck after launch. “I would say we are 90% the way there,” Cleaver said when asked about implementation progress.
