The Muskego Common Council on May 27 approved a developer agreement for Rustic Court LLC, granted an outdoor dance permit for a June 14 car-show event at Hunter’s Nest and approved a change of agent for a Class A liquor license held by GPM Southeast LLC, d.b.a. Jets #4527.
Council action came during the consent agenda and licensing portions of the meeting. The mayor opened the meeting at 6 p.m., confirmed a quorum and noted the meeting was posted under the open meetings law on May 23.
The council approved Resolution 0352025, described on the meeting agenda as the Rustic Court LLC developers agreement. A motion to approve was made and carried by voice vote. The council also approved an outside dance permit for Lauren Closer, doing business as Hunter’s Nest, to hold an event June 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a car show at South 80 West 14401 Schultz Lane. That motion passed by voice vote. Council members then approved a change of agent to Nathan Eckard for the Class A liquor license held by GPM Southeast LLC, d.b.a. Jets #4527, located at South 69 West 15461 Janesville Road; that vote also passed by voice vote.
In communications at the start of the meeting the mayor publicly thanked Britney Larson for her years of service and noted Larson’s last day is scheduled to be the following day. The mayor said Larson is taking a position with the Federated Library System; the library board has begun a search for a replacement. The mayor also noted that quarterly finance reports were distributed to council members and will appear on a future finance committee agenda, and that festival committee volunteers and parade participants should contact the liaison.
The council had no new business after the consent and licensing items and moved on to a closed-session motion later in the agenda.
