Amber Lane, representing the Park Authority, told the Brownsburg Town Council on May 22 that the Williams Park splash pad construction is complete, the town has issued the 2025 permit, and staff have completed training and system checks. Maintenance staff have fine-tuned the chemical feeding system and the department completed an onboarding training with maintenance and operations staff.
The splash pad hours were posted as daily 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m., with Tuesdays opening at 3:30 p.m. to accommodate weekly and monthly maintenance tasks. Amber said the grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, and that Kona Ice, Papa's ice cream truck and Sweet Lemon would be in attendance.
Amber also reported a construction delay for the Arbuckle Park basketball court; wet conditions and drainage issues pushed the projected completion to late July. She said the department prefers to address drainage now to avoid cracking and additional repairs later.
No formal council action was requested; the report provided operational details and event timing.
