The commission reapproved a preliminary plat for the Q8 townhome development (six lots) at the corner of Quincy and Eighth Street. Planning staff said this is a reapproval of an earlier preliminary plat that had expired; the property is zoned RM‑2 and lies within the neighborhood infill overlay, and staff recommended approval. There were no public speakers and the applicant agreed with staff recommendation.
Commissioner Humphrey moved approval and Commissioner Robinson seconded; the motion passed by voice vote. Staff said conditions on the site have not changed and the applicant can proceed toward final plat submittal.
The reapproval restores the developer’s ability to move forward with final platting and subsequent permitting under the previously reviewed plan.
