The applicant’s representative, Baltazar Serna, told the commission the owner purchased the property about 20 years ago and the three units have been in place since before purchase; the applicant agreed to staff’s alternate recommendation.
Commissioner Kellum made the motion to approve the staff-recommended zoning of R5CD with a conditional use for three dwelling units; Commissioner Gonzales seconded and the motion carried on a roll call vote. The commission noted no public speakers were present and staff will forward the recommendation to City Council for final action.
