At the start of the item supervisors voted to excuse Supervisor Sherrill from participation in the vote. After calling for public comment and hearing none, the committee then voted to recommend approval of President Rafael Mandelmann’s nomination of Supervisor Sherrill as an alternate. The motion passed without objection, with members present voting aye.
The committee’s action will be placed on the full Board agenda for confirmation.
