A council member disclosed on the public record that they are an employee at AutoFarm.
The council also approved buying a 2021 Can-Am Outlander Pro HD7 ATV with a winch and snow-plow package from Jorgensen under state contract for $9,501.65. Staff said the machine will serve dual purposes: winter snow plowing for the streets department and summer duties such as watering flowers on Main Street, replacing an older 1986 unit.
Councilors approved both purchases by voice vote. Staff said the state contract pricing provided the best value after local price checks.
