"I really think this is needed," the resident said, describing mattresses left on the roadside near his house.
The council voted to table the bulk-waste / garbage-fee-schedule agenda item to the next meeting to allow staff to circulate the revised materials; council members acknowledged tabling might delay the June date and asked staff to add the three-Saturday plan to the next agenda so it can be finalized before the summer schedule.
Council members and DPW discussed logistics such as contractor scheduling, staffing and electric/waste handling; no final schedule or cost changes were adopted at the meeting.
