The Warren Town Council authorized a three‑year auditing services contract with Damiano & Company, the lowest responsive bidder, for a total amount of $87,795. The town manager said the budget advisory committee had reviewed proposals and recommended Damiano based on qualifications and references from other communities.
Town solicitor Nicholas DeSisto noted Damiano & Company appear on the auditor general’s list of approved firms. Councilors asked about pricing models and referenced other bidders’ multi‑year pricing, and staff said they verified references that gave positive reports of the firm’s municipal performance.
Councilor Rago moved to award the contract; the motion carried by voice vote. Staff will finalize contract language and begin coordination on schedule and deliverables.
