The City Council agreed on June 10 to table consideration of a proposed professional services agreement with Matrix Consulting Group for an efficiency and business transformation study for an amount not to exceed $90,960.
Staff reported that Councilmember Barrick and Vice Mayor Deasy requested additional time to unpack the study scope and findings with staff before authorizing the contract. Council and staff said further meetings with the two councilmembers and the consultant scope would occur and the item could return as early as the June 24 meeting.
No contract was executed; the council consensus was to postpone formal action to allow the finance committee and staff to align on scope and expected deliverables.
