Most changes implement statutory language from the recent session: for example, the district removed a local graduation requirement tied to a program called "Spark Core" and updated policies to reflect changes to course‑choice and concurrent‑credit eligibility, library requirements for K–5 and the state free‑breakfast provision. Trustees approved each policy update by voice vote; administration noted some changes were mandatory and others were clarifications intended to make district language consistent with state law.
Trustees were told the policy documents in the board packet show strike‑throughs and bolded text to highlight changes. The board adopted the policy revisions as presented and asked staff to publish the revised policies on the district website for public review.
