Resident urges council to hire more officers amid concerns about speeding, crashes

Pueger asked the council to hire more officers to control the problem and suggested that increased enforcement could be revenue-positive for the city.
The mayor thanked Pueger for the comments and told her the ideas would be noted and become part of the council’s understanding. No formal council action or staff response committing to hiring was taken during the meeting; the comments were recorded as part of the public comment period.
